Alicia Hawk, in my opinion, went above and beyond. I’m a hairstylist, so to begin with, paperwork is not my strong suit. As a result, I called and emailed a lot for clarification and Alicia was very patient with me until I was clear on the steps and checked to make sure all was in order. From their part, to the company who picked up the box, the constant updates on the transport progress, the company in Rotterdam who received the box sent clear instructions and were also incredibly easy to work with, so received an email with the estimated delivery date and was promptly called by the company here in Portugal to coordinate the actual delivery. Considering how incredibly involved the process of moving across the world is, everyone involved in the door-to-door transport of my belongings were great and made the process as smooth as possible, 8 weeks to the day. I couldn’t ask for more. Except maybe an unpack and organize service, but that’s another subject entirely!
