Q. What’s the difference between a U Box and a U Crate?

The U Crates are made of wood and are quite heavy so its not possible to ship them to your house.  UCrates are available at any of our 88 UPakWeShip shipping terminals for you to load. If you have a flat bed truck, you are more than welcome to collect it from the terminal and take it home, load it and bring it back.

The U Box is made of double ply cardboard and is much lighter than the U Crate.  We can ship U Boxes to your residence for you to load. Once the U Box is loaded, UPakWeShip will  collect it, at your home, with a pallet jack and hydraulic tail lift on the truck, load it into a shipping container and send it off to your destination.

I suggest the U Box is the best way unless you have pieces of furniture that are too large for the U Box in which case the U Crate is a better option.
