Posted at 15:12h, 27 SeptemberWe’re moving from Switzerland (Etoy, little village, 40 Km from Geneva) to Brasil (Campinas,100 Km from São Paulo). The nearest port in Brasil is Santos, and formality papers are very difficult to do.
1)Do you do the formalities or we have to do it?
2)A container will be too big for our stuff. I think 2 U box will be enough. I saw the clips people had posted in your site. They are great!
3) We have 2 ancients wardrobes and a sideboard we would like to move. May we put them into the U boxes?
Thanks for your answer,
Regina Jomini

Posted at 17:48h, 27 SeptemberHello Regina, as you say Brazil is a nightmare with Customs so rather than us using an agent that often then has a lot more charges added to the bill that are not mentioned up front, we suggest you ship around and find someone that you trust yourself for your destination area and circumstances for moving that will enter all the formalities with customs on your behalf. I think the U Boxes might be a bit small for your furniture but I am passing this on to our EU office top contact you and see what they can offer you, cheers The Moving Dr
