Container Losses were the lowest in 2022

 661 containers were lost overboard in 2022, out of 250m transported, representing the lowest losses in percentage since the World Shipping Council started the survey in 2008. That is less than one-thousandth of 1% of the containers shipped each year.

Average losses for the past three previous years were standing at 2,301 containers per year.
