UPakWeShip International Shipping Services: Your Options 

Start by figuring out how many items (and what type of items) you want to ship overseas.

For example, are you moving to another country for college? If so, you might only need to move a few basic living necessities, such as clothes, school supplies, bedding, etc. People who are relocating to another country long-term, though, might need to move their entire home with them, which requires much more packing space. 

Once you know how much you plan to transport, you can pick from one of our international shipping services. 

U-Crate

Our U-Crate service is a good option for people who only have a few things they need to take with them to another country (but more than what can fit in a suitcase!). We provide three different sizes: 50 cubic feet, 100 cubic feet, and 200 cubic feet. This gives you plenty of flexibility in terms of packing space. 

But how much can these crates hold? To give you a bit of perspective, a 50 cubic feet crate can hold about 36 book boxes, 18 medium boxes, or 10 large boxes.

Pallet 

If you have multiple boxes you want to ship together, you can choose to use a pallet instead of a U-Crate. You can load a pallet as small as 45 inches up to 72 inches.

Unlike our other services, though, you’ll have to provide your own pallet and pack it yourself. After that, we’ll take care of the rest of the work for you.

Shipping Container 

Do you need to pack up your entire house? In this case, a U-Crate or large pallet won’t be enough for all your belongings. You’ll need to rent a shipping container instead. 

We can give you a 20-foot or 40-foot container, so you should be able to fit your entire household inside one of these containers. This is a good option for people who have a lot of belongings to move but want to keep them all in the same place (instead of splitting them up among several different U-Crates or pallets).  

How Does Shipping a Package With UPakWeShip Work?

Once you pick the service you want, we’ll drop off one of our U-Crates or shipping containers at your front door. After this, you can take your time filling it up with your belongings.

(Make sure you’re following proper packing guides so your items don’t get damaged during the trip.) 

When you’re done packing, we’ll come back and pick the crate or shipping container up and start the shipping process. We will start by transporting your belongings on a truck, then move them to a ship, then deliver them to your new address. 

Does UPakWeShip Have Shipping Insurance?

Yes. 

We want you to feel secure every second your belongings are in our hands. The odds of something happening to your items, such as damage or loss, is small, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Our insurance will cover the loss or damage of any items (as long as the damage doesn’t come from poor packing). 

The insurance costs 2.5% of the total value of the items you are covering. We will give you a helpful packing list to keep track of your items, and this also makes it easy to find the value of what you’re shipping. 

Will My Belongings Make It Through Customs?

Of course! 

We provide all the necessary customs paperwork to ensure your belongings make it to your final destination without any hiccups along the way. All you have to do is fill it out with the right information. 

Are There Any Items I Can’t Pack?

Unfortunately, there are a few items we can’t ship internationally. Make sure you read our prohibited items list carefully before you pack. Trying to ship any of the prohibited items on this list will guarantee you run into trouble at some point in the moving process. 

It’s not worth the extra stress and hassle. 

If you can’t live without any of the items on this list, write them down and buy them from a local store as soon as you arrive in your new country.
