Should I stay or should I go?

This famous song from the punk band the Clash back in 1982 is a fitting title when it comes to moving overseas during what the WHO is calling Covid-19 a pandemic.
What do you do? You have flights, hotels, and a car reserved and a new job waiting. Your lease is up where you reside in the USA for the moment so (dare I say) when you hear “London calling” do you press ahead and go or delay everything to a later date?
The answer of course is up to you and what you might think is the best for you and your family. Obviously, your family’s health and well being is the first concern, but “if the show must go on” then here are a few thoughts that might help you with your international relocation.
Planes are still running and there will be plenty of seat choices. If you have not booked yet, you can get some great deals.
I always suggest booking through the airlines site direct so if you need to change the dates or cancel you can quite easily do this now with no or little penalties.
Wipe down your seat and tray table before getting comfortable. Use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently.
Once you arrive at your destination, take off all your traveling clothes and wash them or use the hotels laundry service.
Do not get close to other people, avoid touching others, open doors and light switches with your elbow.
Airports and especially security lines will be a lot quieter.
If you are shipping your things overseas to the UK or Europe, transport is still running as normal. Ports are open, ships are still sailing and trucks are still collecting and delivering.
UPakWeShip is open and still collecting and delivering shipments all over the USA and the UK and Europe with no delays.

Stay safe and healthy and let us know if we can help.
